What needs a cable
Section titled “What needs a cable”The serial monitor and the binary flasher talk to real hardware over Web Serial, so they need Chrome, Edge or Opera on a desktop. Firefox and Safari have no Web Serial support and never prompt for a port.
The calculators are pure maths and run anywhere, phones included.
